My husband and I are going to decorate our Christmas tree tonight and put up lights around our home. My husband always puts the lights up first so they can be seen immediately after dark. While he is placing them on the roof, I stay inside and bake cookies for the movie we watch that night. Every year after the tree is finished, we watch a holiday movie on our Cable TV DVR. This year we will watch A Christmas Story! What I do not know about tonight, is what my husband has planned? I over heard him talking among a group of friends about something he is doing for me tonight. The problem is, is that I have no idea what it is going to be! I hope it is not some foolish prank and that it is something sweet and romantic. My husband is a jokester, so I can never take him seriously when it comes to surprises. Last Christmas he hid a rat in the box of decorations and it scared me horribly. So clearly, I hope that decorating this year will be less intense than the last. I swear that man will be on the porch if another gruesome prank like that is pulled.

Is it right to say that NBC is my favorite sports network to watch on terrestrial or satellite television from tvbydirect.com just because of the way that they cover the Olympics? Being an Olympic fanatic, I spend two weeks every other year sitting in front of the television non-stop. It doesn't matter what sport it is in the Winter or Summer Olympics, I'm there. I'm the guy who stays up until midnight to watch a curling match. And while NBC has committed some sins by putting way more importance on just a few "American dominated" events in recent years (I'm looking at you swimming, volleyball, track and figure skating), with four or five NBC networks dedicated to around the clock coverage, all can be forgiven.

While I'm not a huge fan of the prime time coverage for the reasons I previously mentioned, I am a fan of Bob Costas. He doesn't get enough credit for the way he runs the prime time shows, which are actually a lot harder to do then they look. He has to be on the top of his game for 16 straight nights shoveling you from one event to another. He handles it with grace and ease like the his counterparts on ABC or CBS did in the past. I can only hope that FOX doesn't get ahold of the Olympics in future years.

This is my version of Pasit Palabok, a Filipino food, I cooked this the other day during my work off. I used rice noodles, pork, shrimp and boiled eggs with Pansit Palabok sauce. You can buy the sauce in any Asian store. Believe me or not, its so yummy even though I dont have the exact ingredients. So please help yourself!

Christmas Shopping can be a pain in the butt especially if you wait until the last minute to go. I always plan every year to go shopping in November but it never seems to work that way. I hate Christmas shopping in December but because we go in a group of about 017 people, we always end up having the time of our lives.

My husband, his parents, me and my parents, and our brothers and sisters all stay at my house the night before we go shopping. We all get up at five in the morning to beat the traffic. I get dressed first and cook breakfast while everyone else get dressed. Once everyone is all bundled up and ready to go. I set my home security alarm (Adt Home Security pricing) as we all head out the door.

There is no specific place we visit, but we like to catch all the sales first. There is this area with about fifty stores within walking distance that we like to hit first before we go anywhere else. Thank god for the walkie talkies we use every year because we all seem to scatter out and get lost when are looking for gifts. Once everyone is finished, we have this spot in the same area where we meet up to have a few drinks. I enjoy Christmas shopping because I get to spend time with my family.

Well, it's official! Winter is here and I am certainly looking forward to spending some quality time in the show with my family! We had our first snow this morning, so what is the only logical thing to do? We all get bundled up and headed to our backyard for all of our favorite snow activities! My daughter was making snow angels, giving my son plenty of time to pack a few http://the-hermeneutic-of-continuity.blogspot.com/2010/12/dominican-snowball-fight.html snowballs to ambush us with as we ran by! We made makeshift sleds out of garbage can lids and raced down are backyard to see who made the best sled. Turns out a round plastic lid fairs better than a flat metal lid! After we raced down the hill, we made sure to write our names in snow to give our backyard some nice decoration! We even drew portraits for each other! As we started to lose the feeling in our toes from being wet an cold we decided now would be an ideal time to brush of and head inside. The only thing better than playing in the snow all day, is coming in and getting nice and warm afterwards! We all like to cuddle up under a blanket and watch our favorite movies and shows on our DIRECTV HD DVR Deals! We're all looking forward to more snowy days in the future.

I used to do some figure skating growing up and during high school and I loved every minute of it. I wanted to continue doing it through college, but I just didn't really have the time to do it then. But now my two daughters do some figure skating on their own and I think that they love it even more than I used to.

I wanted to get them something special that's skating related for Christmas, so I went online to try and find something for them. They don't need any more skating gear, so that ruled out a bunch of my ideas. When I was online looking for that though, I came across this website http://www.cleartvbundle.com/order_bundle.htmland read through it. After that I decided to change over our home internet service because we had been having problems with the service we'd been using for a while by then.

In my search for gifts for my daughters, I found some really cute skating ornaments that I thought would be great to give them. We didn't have any skating ornaments, so I thought that they were appropriate.

My husband is a big fan of both basketball and baseball. Since we’re from Michigan, of course, we support our own; Detroit Pistons and Detroit Tigers. There was one time, due to scheduled blackout; we’re unable to watch the game on the television. We called out television provider if there’s a way to get the game; we’re willing to pay even on pay per view. But of course, it’s beyond their control. We have learned our lesson well that is why we prefer to watch in the stadium. We already reserve tickets for Detroit Pistons games in Palace of Auburn Hills and Detroit Tigers game in Comerica Park.

I am also a big fan of Michael Jackson and Jeff Dunham. Michael Jackson’s sudden death stunned the whole world. Until now he still shares with us his music. I am planning to watch Cirque du Soleil : Michael Jackson The Immortal Tour that will start October 2011. I am also planning to visit Canada sometime next year, if budget allows; I might watch it in Air Canada Centre.

I have watched Jeff Dunham’s performance via youtube only. He is a ventriloquist and a stand-up comedian. I enjoy watching his puppets and my favorite character is Walter. He is a retired Vietnam War veteran, a grumpy old man who has negative and often sarcastic view on today's world. This man makes me laugh all the time. A friend told me that Jeff will perform 1st quarter of next year. As I have seen the schedule, I’m choosing whether to watch him on January in Arco Arena or February in EnergySolutions Arena.

All these schedules and locations I got from www.ticketamerica.com, this site made things a lot easier when it comes to watching games, concerts and different shows. This site gives you all information you need in just one click.

The only thing that I don't like about holiday crafts is that the reasonable thing to do is to take them down or get rid of them after that holiday season is through. But the thing about Christmas is that you can leave the crafts up for quite a while.

I was wanting to do some wintery craft that would last within reason even after Christmas. When I was looking online for the inspiration for the craft that I was going to make, I came across the website http://www.clearwirelessinternet.com/ and decided to change over my internet service to it after I read through all of it.

So I decided to make some snowflake garland to hang up for decoration. I strung them up from the window frames in my living room and they look really cool that way. I think that I'm going to leave them up until around Valentine's Day if they last that long. Maybe they'll make it all the way until then and then I could put them up again next year!

Yonah's and Rai's Christmas stockings. We did these yesterday in our activity room down the basement. She had so much fun and lots of wonderful ideas. There you go, happy holidays!

Being a hockey fan is so much different than being a basketball or a football fan. The game is brutal, more involved, and more passionate. I think that sort of bleeds over into the fans as well. As a Red Wings fan I can't say that I've ever felt better than when I'm sitting next to the glass at a game. I think Todd Bertuzzi is a perfect example of everything that is right about hockey. He's in your face, aggressive, and bleeding to win. He's what led me to the Red Wings and made them my favorite team. Whether it's at the glass watching the game or sitting on a big couch watching the players take the ice on satellite tv from http://www.direc4u.com/direct-tv-deals.html... It's all beautiful and perfect to me. Hockey fans are just made different because the sport is just made different. When the NFL and the NBA shut down for their different disputes I will still have a beer in hand and a grin on my face as my hockey team continues to play on.

I think winter is the best time of year and my husband thinks I'm absolutely nuts for it. We live in Maine, so we get a pretty good taste of the elements this time of year, but I really wouldn't have it any other way. I love the mountains of snow everywhere you look. I love the anticipation of going to bed one night with the hope of waking up to a sheet of pristine whiteness the next day. I feel like it's just incredibly invigorating, which is a beautiful feeling.

Tom, though, like I said, doesn't enjoy it so much. I'm sure it's because he's from down south, so he never got used to it. Either way, we still try to make this time of year special whether it's just making sure to get out to enjoy the blankets of snow we get, or doing new things like revamping the sunroom (which, ironically, is extra-gorgeous to lounge in this time of year) using HOMEPROIMPROVEMENT.com. Call me crazy, but it's always a bummer when things start to get warm again. Good thing I've got a few more months of bliss!

Definition of snow, snow flurries and snow showers;

Snow: This refers to the white, cold, flakey stuff itself. It does not describe any particular manifestation thereof.

Snow Flurry: Light, intermittent snowfall without any significant accumulation of snow on the ground.

Snow Shower: A short duration of light to moderate snowfall. Snow showers are characterized by their sudden beginnings and endings -- they're finite. They usually leave snow on the ground, but not always. Also, snow showers come from cumuliform clouds, as opposed to stratiform clouds.

Scrubs are used to be designed as simple as possible. They were just plain white for shirts and pants. Some used to wear street clothes and butcher’s apron in order to protect his clothing from becoming stained with blood. When I was young, I wondered how nurses, surgeons or any people in the medical field can manage to do their tasks while wearing white scrubs. You can get dirty which is hard to hide and hard to laundry.

Now, there are modern scrubs. Color and pattern has been improved. Experts have a change of thinking that they should improve their medical uniforms and BlueSkyscrubs.com offers finest and most fashionable medical scrubs and medical scrub hats plus they have a special offer; free shipping for purchases of $155 and more.

As a CNA, I have checked the site. I liked the hot pink scrubs. It reflects your personality while you’re on duty. You can match it with a medical uniform pants, color pink of course. Pockets are stitched beautifully and we can definitely have a space for important things needed while on duty. There are also available men’s medical uniforms, you can pick what top, bottom or set you would like to have. Now, medical personnel can be on duty on a fashionable way!
